INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are the backbone of El Caldito Soup Kitchen. Whether you can give a few hours a week or just one day a month, your help is always appreciated. Volunteers assist with food preparation, serving meals, and clean-up.

GROUP VOLUNTEERING
Group volunteering is a fantastic way to build team spirit and make a significant impact. We welcome groups from companies, schools, churches, and other organizations. Group activities include meal preparation, serving, and organizing food drives.

Host a Food Drive
Food drives are essential in keeping our pantry stocked with the items we need to prepare meals. Hosting a food drive is a wonderful way to engage your community, school, or workplace in supporting El Caldito Soup Kitchen.
Steps to Host a Food Drive:
Register Your Drive:
Let us know about your food drive by filling out our food drive registration form.
Promote Your Drive:
Spread the word through flyers, social media, and word of mouth. We can provide promotional materials upon request.
Collect Donations:
Gather non-perishable food items such as canned goods, rice, pasta, and cooking oil.
Deliver Donations:
Arrange a drop-off time with us, or we can coordinate a pick-up for large collections.
Community Service
Looking to give back to your community? We’re always grateful for extra hands in the kitchen! No pre-registration needed—just drop in at 10:00 AM, ask for Brian or Crystal, and we’ll get you set up with a way to help.

Community Service Program Disclaimer: This program fulfills court-ordered community service hours required for citations, fines, or restitution. Participation is voluntary, unpaid, and does not constitute employment.
Donation Receipts: All donations to El Caldito Soup Kitchen are tax-deductible. Upon receiving your donation, we will provide you with a receipt for your records.
